BEDFORD HOTEL
BEDFORD HOTEL
Bedford Hotel flooring is manufactured from reclaimed White Oak barn beams and boards One of the unique characteristics of this historic flooring are all the original, black epoxy filled stress cracks in many of the planks. We believe that these checks and cracks deserve their chance to speak – the finger prints of the freezing and thawing of 100 or 200 winters and summers. In addition to these characteristics, you’ll also find original peg holes pegged with the original pegs recovered by our dismantling team. Nail holes and knots complement the tone of these storied planks. Bedford Hotel is given an antique look by a proprietery hand-distressing technique, lightly wire-brushed and finished with premium Rubio Monocoat pure hardwax oil.
